Ad Libs for Performers & Professionals
Instructor: Hailey Zureich
The skills of ad-libbing, crowd work, and generally improvising can elevate any performer. Stand-up comics’ sets can be taken to a whole new level. A play performer is equipped with the necessary skills to recover from a misstep during a show. A streamer can create new best practices for engaging with their audience.
For some, taking on these practices can feel clumsy or traumatic -- which means they avoid practicing building up their expertise. This workshop is designed to provide the perfect place to practice and play your way into ad-libbing.
Throughout the session, students will be provided with a variety of exercises and best practices, confidence, and be ready to take to the stage. Students will go home with a zhailey coaching mini-workbook, 4 hours of in-class time, and boosted confidence!
This is perfect for folks who are looking for new experiences, stand-up comics looking to expand their skill sets, improvisors who are stand-up curious, and folks who are pros at performing seeking to expand their toolbox.
