Stand Up: Femme, Them, & Queer Comedy Education Experience
We’re so excited to be working with guest instructor Hailey Zureich to offer her Stand Up: Femme, Them, & Queer Education Experience.
This is a 4-term program, with each class term running for 8 weeks and including a class show. All classes take place at Go Comedy’s HQ space, at 255 E. Nine Mile Rd.
FTQEE 101: Fundamentals

Student Showcase Monday, September 21
This course is designed to help femme, them, trans, and queer folks build confidence, land punchlines, and be your best you onstage! Throughout this course we will discuss the basics of stand-up comedy, best practices to slay on stage, how to keep yourself safe, engage with the stand-up community, and perform in your class show!
Students will receive 24 hours of in-class learning, the zhailey coaching Stand Up 101 Workbook, feedback each class, the opportunity to perform in the class show, and so much more! Students must identify as femme/woman, LGBTQ+, or non-binary
FTQEE 201: Elevations

Student Showcase Monday, October 26
This course is specifically designed to support femme, them, queer, and trans comics from fundamentals to a full on level up!
Throughout this eight week course students will be immersed in feedback and exercises designed to help elevate a student's set–build up to 10+ minutes of material, organize ideas, improve more complex techniques, best practices for being booked on shows, & more.
Students will receive 24 hours of in class learning, the zhailey coaching FTQEE Elevations Stand Up 201 workbook and opportunity to perform in the class show.
Folks need to have completed FTQEE Fundamentals. Or identify as a femme/woman, a member of the LGBTQ+ community, non-binary and have 1+ years of experience.

Student Showcase Monday, January 11
This course is designed to help femme, them, and queer stand up comedians push their performance beyond their edge.
Over the course of eight weeks of sessions, students will learn the best practices of emceeing shows, building a personal press kit, tackling taboos and tough topics, exploring story telling, expanding ad-lib skills, and so much more.
This is ideal for students who have completed the other two FTQEE levels or identify as a femme/woman, a member of the LGBTQ+ community, non-binary person and have 2+ years of experience.
Students will receive 24 hours of in class learning, the zhailey coaching Stand Up 301 FTQEE Workbook, and the opportunity to perform in the class show.

FTQEE 401: Focus
For established stand up comedians who want to write and work material. Throughout this course, participants will work a set from premise, through the first draft, feedback, re-write, feedback, write, and finally to perform.
This course is specifically designed to help comics focus on honing their writing style, making quality time for writing, and building fresh material to take to the stage.
Ideal for comics who have completed FTQEE Fundamentals, Elevations and Edge, or have been performing for 2+ years.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Hailey is a certified Life Coach,Yoga Teacher, 15 years experience as a corporate trainer, and rounded out her performance experience to include short and long form improv, and stage acting.
Her training integrates her mastery in these areas to help create an atmosphere of safety, confidence, and space for fun while learning.
