Mary started out her performance journey primarily with acting in local metro-Detroit plays and sketch shows, before venturing into improv in fall of 2022. While completing courses at Planet Ant Theatre, Mary became a founding member of local improv troupe "Tiers of Gravy," wrote and directed a one-act comedy titled "Reflect," and joined the Resident Company Understudy program here at Go Comedy! Improv Theater. After graduating, Mary auditioned for and became a member of 2024/2025 Launch Group "Mystic Point," coached by Tess Hannah. During her year-long run with Mystic Point at the Sunday Finale, Mary also plays Thursday nights with the Planet Ant Form Team, as well as writes and distributes a comedy newsletter that she founded in summer of 2023 called "BigMAC News." Mary is very grateful to play alongside such talented improvisers each week and can't wait to see what's next for herself and fellow Mystic Pointers!
