The Clubhouse (Ferndale, MI) The Clubhouse is the resident company house team at Go Comedy Improv Theater. Made up of 25 of Detroit's top improvisors, a random group of six can be seen performing every Sunday night in the Weekend Finale. 9 out of 10 dentists recommend watching a Clubhouse set to help prevent cavities and gingivitis, the other dentist says no this isn't possible.
Snooze Button (Kansas City, MS/Portland OR) Long time friends, Andy and Josh, get to know an audience member and then make them the hero of their very own story. With their own brand of playful theatricality and wild characters, they are inspired by the audience member’s life to take them on a journey where they always end up saving the day!
Messing with Lehr (Chicago, IL) Together, Messing and Lehr are A Delightful Couple—an improvised comedy romp to wherever they want to go!

Never Forget, Forever 15, and Blackground
Never Forget (Detroit, MI) Never Forget is a team of historians who dabble in improv. Together they faithfully recreate any historical event exactly as it happened with zero mistakes. Watch and learn, skanks.
Forever 15 (Detroit, MI) Forever Fifteen is an improv duo featuring Joe Hingelberg & Travis Pelto of Ferndale, MI. After meeting in their high school improv club at the age of 15, the two went on to perform for over 20 years in various improv and sketch comedy shows across Metro Detroit. Recently the two worked with local improvisor Shawn Golden to create an animated sketch comedy show, Big Big Baby and then worked with Adult Swim Smalls to create GLEN.
Blackground (Atlanta, GA) From Dad’s Garage in Atlanta, GA, BlackGround is an all-African-American comedy troupe of hilarious performers, amazing guests, killer comedy, and a fun-filled celebration of Blackness!
Each performance is inspired by a classic movie with all-white (or mostly-white) cast—think Star Wars or Indiana Jones—and the performers improvise what the Black people were doing during the movie! Come laugh, celebrate, and embrace the essence of Blackness in a way you've never seen before. Don't miss out on this unforgettable experience where laughter meets legacy.

Stir Friday Night, Reome Ring, and DIF All Stars
Stir Friday Night (Chicago, IL) For 30 years, Stir Friday Night, Chicago's longest-running AAPI comedy team, has been making people laugh. This show is no exception. With alumni like Steven Yeun (Walking Dead) and Danny Pudi (Community), SFN is a pillar of the Chicago comedy scene. MSG included.
Reome Ring (Chicago, IL) Started in 2019 The Reome Ring is a monthly long-form show featuring Chicago's best, creating improv chaos at the whim of a bell. Every month offers a new assemblage of the city's top-notch improvisers...except this one is at DIF!
DIF All Stars Have you ever wondered what would happen if some of the most talented improvisers all ended up on one stage together? DIF All-Stars will satisfy that curiosity! It is a comingling of performers from our headlining troupes coming together to give you 45 minutes of hilarity. The cast will include Jaime Moyer, Chad Damiani, Ithamar Enriquez and members of SAND, HinProv, and BlackGround. Don't miss it!

For the Detroit Improv Festival, seating is general admission.
DISCOUNT
For the Detroit Improv Festival, all tickets are sold through DICO. As such, no Go Comedy! discounts or coupons are valid for DIF shows.

PARKING
Free parking is available in our lot and at the courthouse next door after 5pm. Don’t be scared by the parking signs in our lot; we validate parking at the Box Office when you check in for the show!
There’s metered parking on 9 Mile and in the lot across the street. Metered parking is in effect from 11am-midnight, Monday-Saturday. Sunday and recognized city holidays are free. Check out City of Ferndale Parking for more information on parking.
